以下の文章は、今後サイト更新時に日本語に翻訳される予定です。

Huntingdon, now a community in Abbotsford, was established when the Canadian Pacific Railway built a branch line between Mission and the United States border in 1889. The town was established at the border, and had a customs house and a hotel. During the American Prohibition (1919-1933), many visitors crossed the border from the US to enjoy the liquor available on the Canadian side. In subsequent years the town went into decline, although the border crossing is still in operation.

The Tsuchihashi family owned a 9-acre fruit farm in Huntingdon.
